What are the requirements to connect an auxiliary light plant to a farm
distribution system, by this I mean isolating my plant from Sask Power.
Where might I look for this information?

Hello.... Yes you need to get totally off the grid in the event of a
power failure to prevent the line feeding back with the use of your
generator. I have the exact set up near Regina in the event of a power
failure or if you just want to go offline from sask power... For starters
you need and emergency transfer switch like this here:
